“과일들”이란 타이틀의 본 전시는 히사카즈 시미즈의 동명의 새로운 시리즈의 작업을 전시합니다. 과일의 병치, 자연의 경계없는 생산, “팝문화”영역내에서 표현되는 것, 인간이 만드는 건축에 매료된 시미즈는 일본 역사 시리즈와 같은 공격적인 자세로 이런 작품들을 만들어내기 시작했습니다. 본 전시회는 폭넓은 작품들, 조명부터 테이블 웨어와 시계까지를 포함합니다. 또한 파리 Downtown/Franç ois Laffanour 화랑의 에디션인 두 개의 헤어스타일 거울이 전시됩니다.

Japanese designer Hisakazu Shimizu is a member of Canon' s in-house design team, whose better known works include product lines such as the Canon digital IXUS camera. Shimizu also develops his own products under the guise of ' Sabo Studio' creating colorful and simplistic pieces that in some cases border on art installations. Hisakazu Shimizu lives and works in Tokyo, Japan

일본 디자이너 히사카즈 시미즈는 캐논 디지털 IXUS 카메라와 같은 상품라인을 포함 잘 알려진 작업들를 하는 캐논 인하우스 디자인 팀의 멤버입니다. 시미즈 또한 어느 정도는 설치 미술의 경계에 있는 다채롭고 단순한 작품들을 창조하는 ‘사보 스튜디오’를 구실로 자신의 상품들을 발전시키고 있습니다. 그는 일본 도쿄에 살면서 작업을 합니다.
